If you have been praying for rain, think your prayers have been answered….
Veterans Day is Wednesday, however, the 10th annual Bladen County ceremony will be held Tuesday (tomorrow) with Command Sgt. Major Annie L. Walker the guest speaker.  Walker is an Elizabethtown native.  The ceremony will be held at the National Guard Armory beginning at 11 a.m. The ceremony is open to all.
Some things I do not understand….among them is why we can not do a better job when it comes to dealing with mental health.  And, why in the world would our legislature cut funding for the program.  I understand it is difficult, but families dealing with the issue are desperate for help.  Should not be that way.
High School football playoffs begin Friday…..Time for basketball….
Sad fact, fewer and fewer attend any form of worship services on a regular basis.
