A month ago we were approaching Christmas and wondering if we were going to have winter weather. Wintertime has arrived.
National Weather Service is predicting occasional rain, snow and freezing rain before noon, and snow between noon and 4 p.m., then a chance of snow after 4 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 34. Northwest wind 9 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Total snow accumulation is less than a half inch possible.
Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 27. Northwest wind 10 to 14 mph. Tomorrow (Sunday), Sunny, with a high near 43 with northwest wind 7 to 10 mph.
Have a son who drives a Food Lion truck and travels extensively in eastern NC. One of his issues with a trip to the outer banks area late yesterday was an empty truck, after he delivered the groceries, traveling over long bridges and very high winds. Icy roads, to and from, was not the only issue.

Keep reading and hearing folks say they hate this presidential candidate or another candidate, usually the leaders of both parties. Hate them???? The good book says love they neighbor as thyself. And who is our neighbor?? I do not hate any of them, but confess, I disagree with all, depending on the issue. My choice will be the one I disagree with the least. To be determined.
