Good Friday? Easter Monday?…..How about a week off?
What I need is one more holiday that includes good food. Think I am losing the ‘Battle of the Bulge’. Have a short time to prepare for planned physical, timing not good.
Enjoyed time with family during the holidays….Happy Birthday to our youngest son, today….and to others who celebrate the special occasion this day.
The ‘Heels move on to the Final Four, as does Syracuse. Virginia and Notre Dame played their last game yesterday, for this season.
Final Four…..Oklahoma vs Villanova at 6:09 Saturday, April 2 and UNC plays Syracuse 40 minutes after game 1. Both games on TBS.
As the basketball season nears the end, time to relive those great days of yesteryear.
1977 Dixie Youth Baseball Team, we begin with the ‘Benton’ team of Bladenboro. Southeastern Times published a special edition and I saved it.
Team members included: Chris Sutton, Richard Bryant, Michael Nardi, Michael Frazier, Steve Hall, Stanley Owens, Harvey Singletary, Dwayne Gause, Tyrone Kinlaw, Roger Carroll, Kim Foster and Johnny Wright. Coaches were not in the picture and not listed….sorry. Again, the year was 1977 or 39 years ago. My guess is players were in the 8 to 12 year old range….so players should be 47 to about 51 years old. Tell them you saw it on BladenOnline.
More teams to come from across the county.
