Based on a recent news release, the “Colonial Pipeline should begin the process of tying the bypass segment into Line 1 and preparing for a safe restart.” and the “restart of Line 1 is estimated to proceed today, Wednesday, September 21st.”
The release continued, “it is expected to take several days for the fuel delivery supply chain to return to normal. Some markets served by Colonial Pipeline may experience, or continue to experience, intermittent service interruptions. Colonial continues to move as much gasoline, diesel and jet fuel as possible and will continue to do so until markets return to normal.”
“Colonial Pipeline delivers more than 100 million gallons of refined products each day to markets between Houston and New York City, serving more than 50 million people.”
