Hopefully we missed the really bad weather.
Al Byrd, NC State FCA Football Chaplain, will be guest speaker at a breakfast, 9AM Sunday morning at Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church. He will also be speaking at the 11 AM worship service. All are welcome.
And, Tar Heel Baptist Church holds a worship service the first Friday in each month, at 7 AM.
Abbey Walters continues a torrid pace at UNCP. She is doing it all for the softball team. She is 8-1 as a pitcher, batting a “ton” with 6 homeruns. And, she is a better person than softball player, if that is possible. UNCP will host USC-Aiken in a Saturday double-header. First game begins at 1 PM. Another double header with Lander on Sunday, beginning at 1 PM.
John Franklin Burney, Mr. Everything, died yesterday. The White Oak native was 103 years old.
