The weather continues to be a BIG story. We recorded about .80 of an inch of rainfall over the past 12 hours, and it was still falling around 6:30 this morning. More rain today, and northwest wind 9 to 16 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. 70% chance of precipitation, but less than a tenth of rainfall is expected. Windy and cold tonight with lows in the upper 20s. High Wednesday in the mid 40s with lots of wind and very cold Wednesday night..lows in the mid 20s.
Hope the blueberry crop survives. 80s in February and very cold in March.
Remember Woody Durham, voice of the UNC Tar Heels for years. Several recent newspaper articles that reveal he is suffering from Primary Progressive Aphasia. So sad.

A longtime NC political leader, now deceased, describing tax reform. Most of the time, the only folks calling for tax refore are those expecting (hopeful) of paying less tax. Think about it. The cost of government is not the issue, will not be less….it’s all about who pays.
