Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

March is just days….(hours) away….Understand that February may break the all-time low monthly average…

I am so pleased that BladenOnline is here to keep everyone up to date on closings, etc.. We were the first to get serious about an online newspaper and remain #1…and it is because of your support and the hard work of the part-timers…and now full-timers… Good work on-going under the leadership and hard work of Charlotte Smith…

Along that same line of thinking….I think often if not for BladenOnline there would be no first-hand coverage of any of our elected bodies… Just one of the reasons we are your best source for local news….local folks covering local events for local readers…of course we welcome all to check our updated versions hourly…all day long……and after 7 years…we are still excited and promise..The Best Is Yet To Come….

High school playoff games had to be re-scheduled because of the weather..The schedule for today….5 p.m. Eastern Randolph girls at #1 seeded East Bladen and West Bladen boys will host the East Bladen Eagles at 7 p.m.

West Bladen girl’s game at Currituck is set for Thursday, 6 p.m.…Dublin to Currituck…..about 250 miles away….

And a reminder of the Bladen Five Middle School conference Tournament games at Tar Heel on Thursday….See John Clark’s article on our sports page…with pairings…

Many of our units of government will open late today because of the conditions of the roads…We think about the roads in our neighborhood…but the school system must think about roads over the entire county…and some are not treated as the main roads are…

Get flat 30% off on life…start smoking.

The most valuable thing you can make is a mistake–you can’t learn anything from being perfect.

Funny how fast you can get up in the morning once you’ve realize you overslept.
