Mission accomplished, I think, and headed home from DC.
Yesterday was a good day. Visited the office of several congressman, did not get to speak to any, but did speak to some staffers. One I always look forward to is Bryan Martin in Rep. Walter Jones office. Actually, he knew I needed help moving from one office to another and he guided me thru the underground system to my next stop, and I appreciate it. Bryan is the former planning director for the Town of Elizabethtown.
Met a former co-worker with the NC Association of County Commissioners. Butch Gunnels is now Ex. Director of the NC Soft Drink Bottlers Association, probably wrong title. He was just one of many groups making the rounds.
Earlier, Rep. Marsha Blackmon, Tennessee Congresswoman and Bill Johnson, Ohio Congressman addressed the Association of Telco Coops. Both were promoting broadband. Information is king.
Happy to be headed home.
