NCAA March Madness schedule for today:

Winners play Monday night for championship.

In Women’s action, Mississippi State 66 – UConn 64 in overtime. And, South Carolina defeated Stanford 62-53. Championship game–Mississippi State vs South Carolina, Sunday night.

UConn’s win streak ends at 111. WOW!

South Carolina mens and ladies teams still playing for championship. Credit goes to players and coaches. And, some credit must go to AD Ray Tanner of Benson, NC, former NC State baseball coach and even further back, former 3rd baseman for the Wolfpack.
Major league baseball season begins over the next few days.

A reminder of the fund raiser in Bladenboro this PM for JT Higgs, a youngster suffering from leukemia. Bake sale, silent auction and children’s activities begin at 2 and BBQ plates will be on sale from 4 – 7 PM at the Bladenboro Historical Building.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
