Tuesday, April 25 – A Job and Career Opportunities Fair will be hosted at Bladen Community College from 10 AM ’til 1 PM in the college auditorium.
Wednesday, April 26 – Bladen County Educational Foundation Fund Raiser.
Thursday, April 27 – 28th Annual Bladen We Care Golf Tournament at The Vineyard Golf Course. A limited number of slots available.
Friday, April 28 – Bladen County Master Gardeners Volunteers Annual Plant Sale at the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market in Elizabethtown.
Saturday, April 29 – Kelly Spring Fest at the Kelly, NC Ball Park hosted by the Kelly Volunteer Fire Department. Parade begins at 10 AM.
Saturday, April 29 – Southeastern Carolina Crossroads is sponsoring their Second Annual Golf Tournament hosted by Land Of Lakes Golf Course. Tee Off 1 PM. Call 910-549-8487 for more info.
Saturday, April 29 – Greater McKoy’s Chapel, Inc. is sponsoring their Annual Car Show at 282 Center Road. Registration begins at 8 AM, judging begins at 1 PM.
Saturday, April 29 – The Bladen County Department of Social Services’ Child Protective Service Unit is holding A Child Abuse Awareness event, meet 1 PM at San Jose Restaurant and walk to the Bladen County Courthouse for events. Concludes at 4 PM.
Saturday, April 29 – Bladen County Master Gardeners Volunteers Annual Plant Sale at the Bladenboro Farmer’s Market.
Saturday, April 29 – White Oak Fire Department will host an “All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast” from 7AM ’til 10 AM at their building.
Saturday, April 29 – West Bladen Knights JROTC Battalion will host the ‘101 Family Fun & 5K Run’. Registration begins at 8AM, Opening ceremonies at 9.
Friday, May 5 – Bladen We Care Gala will be held at Lu Mil Vineyard. A few tickets remain. $100 per couple.
Saturday, May 6 – Kids Appreciation Day at Elizabethtown City Hall sponsored by the E-town Police Department.
Saturday, May 6 – First Annual Bladen County Aim For A Cure event to benefit the ALS Association to be held at 3062 Cabbage Road, Bladenboro.
Friday, May 12 – Relay for Life from 11 AM ’til 11 PM at Elizabethtown Middle School athletic field.
Friday, May 12 – Bladenboro Rotary Club is holding their Annual JW and Martha Black golf tournament at Land of Lakes Golf Course.
Saturday, May 13 – Spring Homecoming at Harmony Hall Plantation from 10 AM ’til 4 PM.
My guess is, there are more. Double check events time and location before heading out. This is for those who say, ‘There’s Nothing Happening in Bladen County’.
