Thoughts While ShavingEver have one of those nights when you wake up early, toss and tumble, finally decide to get up and do something…just ‘slept out’?  Some need lots of sleep and for others of us, about 5 or 6 hours is all needed.

New census info is available, several sources with slightly different numbers.  Google US Census Bureau QuickFacts, and look up Bladen County, NC.  Another is AccessNC, slightly different statistical info for those who enjoy comparisons.

This time next week, many will be making final plans for July 4th activities.

Reminder of the ceremony to dedicate the Tar Heel bridge over the Cape Fear River today at 2 PM at the Fire Department.  It will be the David B. Melvin bridge.
