Thoughts While Shaving

NFL results from Thursday night play: Patriots 19 – Tampa Bay Bucs 14.

Local high school football action tonight, Whiteville at West Bladen and Fairmont at East Bladen.  Gametime for both 7 PM.  One of my favorite times of the week sharing coaching tips with anyone seated nearby in the stands, from someone with zero coaching experience. Pre-game activities, I am told, will begin at 6:30 PM prior to the East Bladen game.

Weather should not be a problem for whatever you have planned for today, a slight chance of rainfall for the weekend, like 20% to 30% with a higher probability if you are in an area of a thunderstorm.

“Politics, noun.  A strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles.  The conduct of public affairs for private advantage.”  Ambrose Bierce, The Devil’s Dictionary

I was recently on a tour of Latin America, and the only regret I have was that I didn’t study Latin harder in school so I could converse with those people.  Dan Quayle

The attractive lady whom I had only recently been introduced to dropped into my lap….I chose not to dump her off.  —-Former Senator and presidential candidate Gary Hart, on his encounter with Donna Rice.
