I just remembered it was Saturday, not Sunday.
Had a busy Friday evening, multi-tasking! Watched Clemson football team lose to Syracuse, followed local high school football teams on Max Preps, listen to the Whiteville Wolfpack football broadcast and was constantly updated on the Yankees-Astro baseball playoff game.
Best way to describe it all, I was worn out, slept like a baby. Thought I had overslept, been hustlin’, showered, shaved, preparing to attend 7 AM prayer meeting….then realized it’s Saturday. That’s good, another day to do little. The life of a retired senior citizen.

The big Orange Machine was de-railed last night. Syracuse (4-3) football team 27, Clemson (6-1) 24. But the Tigers lost one game last year, recovered to capture the NCAA Championship with a win over the Big Red Machine (Alabama).

UNC supporters received good news yesterday, after a long, exhaustive NCAA investigation of athletics, no charges.
There has been lots of news this week in Bladen County, more bad than good. Can’t wait to see the final stats for BladenOnline. Early reports indicate it could be our best week ever, statistically, thanks to our readers and advertisers.
