Wake Forest and NC State posted Bowl wins yesterday, more activity today and over the next few days.
Holidays and very cold weather have given me the opportunity to spend more time than usual on the Internet, have re-connected with some of my work family over the years. It’s been fun. Most have retired, some more recent that others and one retired recently, after 40 + years and begins a new position next week. All (total of 5) are talking about a get-together, soon. Talk is easy, hope we can ‘put legs to it.’ Must work around doctor appointments, it’s what happens as we age.
Speaking of retirement, someone sent info on Energy Boost, wonder why? Guess it blends well with old age….
57 years ago, (1960) on a Friday evening, my bride and I said “I Do”. And, today the celebration continues, sort of. Like all, it’s been a good trip, not without issues, but all in all a very rewarding trip. Two sons, two grand-children and a wonderful daughter-in-law, and we are still good friends. Yes I would, do it all over again with the same partner.
2017 will soon be in the rear-view mirror, we will begin with a new calendar, and hopefully remember to date our checks 2018.
