Thoughts While Shaving

It’s February and this is going to be a typical February day.  Early morning temps in the low 20s, highs expected to be in the low to mid 40s.  Warmer on Sunday, in the low 60s.  Plan accordingly.

I am looking forward to cutting grass.  Like the warmer weather when it’s cold and pray for cooler weather when it’s hot.  Typical human being, can’t be satisfied.

E-town Dixie Youth supporters had a great night, last night, selling all 250 tickets for steak dinners, and auctioned off donated items.  Now they can spend their time working with the youngsters…Thanks to all who supported in any way…

Bladen County Commissioners will meet a couple of times next week.  First, in regular session Monday, usual meeting place (Courthouse) at normal time (6:30 PM).  Then, in a Special Planning Session Tuesday at 4 PM at the Bladen County Health Department Conference Room.

As BladenOnline begins year 11, a check quick check of January 2018 stats indicates all is well.

Super Bowl Sunday, lest you forget.

Winston Churchill quotes shared by a reader friend:

You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.

Fear is a reason.  Courage is a decision.

A nation that forgets its past has no future.

There is nothing government can give you that it hasn’t taken from you in the first place.
