Thinking about the Bladen County Commissioners call for a public hearing to be held Monday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. ‘seeking input regarding a possible law making it illegal to hunt or discharge a firearm on, from, or across a state maintained right-of-way or to retrieve dogs from a public road while in possession of a loaded firearm’ is likely to draw a crowd. May need to make sure someone has a key to the ‘big courtroom’ to accommodate all who want to be heard, pro and con.
A Casino Night Fundraiser is planned for Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery, sponsored by Bladen’s Bloomin’ Agri-Industrial, Inc. and Bladen County Committee of 100. Doors open at 7 p.m. Play time is from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 person.
Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, lest you forget! A box of candy and a card may not work this time.
