Thoughts While ShavingApril 15, ummmm April 17 is just a days away and your tax info is expected to be in the mail, with a check included, if more taxes are due.  A little bit of a break, because the 15th is on Sunday, and Monday, April 16 is Emancipation Day, a Washington, DC holiday.  So, in 2018, the deadline for filing is April 17.

My guess, cooler heads will prevail at some point.  What’s fair for one should be fair for the other.  Problem is how is ‘fair’ determined and who decides.

Old age comes with ailments that make a monthly trip to the pharmacist a must.  Need to restock the medicine cabinet, and don’t forget the stool softeners, aspirin and other such aids.  For the younger generation, if you are lucky, your day will come.

Old age is like everything else.  To make a success of it, you’ve got to start early.  Theodore Roosevelt

To me….old age is always 10 years older than I am.  Bernard Baruch

Scripture is filled with examples of men and women whom God used late in life, often with great impact – men and women who refused to use old age as an excuse to ignore what God wanted them to do.  Billy Graham
