Thoughts While ShavingApril 2018 is coming to a close.  May Day tomorrow!  What’s your favorite month of the year?  How ’bout the longest month of the year?  Changes with time, but for many years for me, it was May…favorite and longest.

Favorite because another school year was complete, but seemed to last forever, and graduation was in the final few days of May, just about every year.

Later in life, it was the fall season, enjoyed broadcasting high school football.

If the weather folks are correct, and they have a pretty good record, it is going to feel like summer beginning tomorrow (Tuesday), with temps in or near the 80s for several days.

Looking forward to visit by #2 son today and dine with siblings this evening, including nephew (Seth Anton) who has been in the Navy for a year.  He will be leaving shortly for a ship in Japan, his home away from home for the next three years.

BladenOnline numbers for the month of April have been unreal.  Numbers began with a ‘bang’, more bad news than usual for Bladen County.  Expect final monthly numbers to be some of the highest ever.

Last week, numbers were very good, but returned to a more ‘normal’ range.
