Social media does wonders for special occasions, like Mother’s Day. Feel like I shared the day with family & friends, far and wide. Pictures were wonderful, young growing families, senior friends I seldom see and all in between.
It was a very good day for the Cain-Hester family with immediate family sharing some fun time at White Lake.
Hot weekend and more today, we catch a break on Tuesday, cooler temps and hopefully some much needed rain.
It’s back to a normal routine today.
A reminder of the 2nd Annual Rotary International Cup Golf Tournament to be held Thursday, May 17 at Vineyard Golf at White Lake. Captain’s choice format. Registration and lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and a shot gun start follows at 1 PM. The tournament benefits local students with scholarships. $300 for a 4 person team. White Lake Water Festival gets into full swing Friday, 6 PM with Soul on the Beach Band and a Classic Car Cruise-In at Goldston’s Beach. Street dance from 7 – 9 PM featuring the Southern Touch Band in the parking lot at Goldston’s.
