Thoughts While Shaving

So, how will you celebrate the 4th of July?  Cookouts with family and friends, fireworks, parades, concerts, a week off, maybe just a day off and for others, just another work day.  Regardless of how or what you do today, say a prayer for our nation and all who serve here and abroad.

July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of our nation since the 18th century, and designated as a federal holiday in the US since 1941.

May have to dodge showers and thunderstorm, beginning around noon time and throughout the afternoon and evening.  Official forecast indicates high near 90, Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.  50% chance of precipitation.  Rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Fireworks will be on display at White Lake, most likely after 9 pm this evening.

Elizabethtown’s annual sidewalk sale continues.

One Flag, One Land, One Heart, One Hand, One Nation Evermore!   Oliver Wendell Holmes

Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.  Abraham Lincoln

America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination.  Harry S. Truman
