Town of Elizabethtown will celebrate the recently renovated Tory Hole Park with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, Monday, July 23, at 11 AM and all are invited. A nice addition to the town.

Another golf champ in the county. Bizzle Pate, son of Chip and Myra Pate of Elizabethtown, won the fourth flight 3 and 1 in the 22nd NC Junior boys championship in the 13 and under age group. The tournament played recently at Asheboro Municipal course. Will Spicer of Kings Mountain was the overall winner. Pate is related to Cade Hancock who continues to make a name for himself.
