Thoughts While Shaving
Thoughts While ShavingWe have a pretty good chance of rain over the next 3 or 4 days, 60% today according to the National Weather Service, 40% tonight, 60% Sunday, 70% Monday and just a 30% chance on Tuesday.

Received 3/10 of an inch or rainfall ’round 6 PM Friday at the Hester household a couple of miles southwest of E-town, as the crow flies, same amount recorded at the nearby Curtis Brown Airport.

Pretty good excuse to ‘not’ mow grass. Looking forward to late October or early November, first frost of the year about that time, and mowing season ceases.

Couple of annual events upcoming you may need to add to your calendar.  Dublin Peanut Festival WILL be held Saturday, September 15and Beastfest is set for Saturday, October 27 in Bladenboro.  Folks work hard to make both events happen.

Youngsters are either already enrolled in school, or will be soon, depending on the school they attend.  No more one schedule fits all.

Football scrimmage underway, season begins in a couple of weeks.  Begins with temps in the 90s and ends with them in the 30s and 40s if the teams have a good season.

Wish I understood dreams…I am a dreamer, big time…most of the time late night, big city, lost vehicle and latest included a baby that I could not find the parents.  Walked all night long, so happy to wake up and all is well.

Last of the exercise jokes shared with me recently.

Every time I hear the dirty word ‘exercise’, I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

The advantage of exercising every day is so when you die, they’ll say, ‘Well, he looks good doesn’t he’?

If you are going to try cross-country skiing , start with a small country.
