Last big weekend of the season for White Lake…been a good year according to several sources.
White Lake traffic is good for many reasons, tourism is good, clean business, more is better.
Bladen County Commissioners meet Tuesday, September 4 for regular monthly session, same place, 6:30 PM and same location, Bladen County Courthouse, Lower Level, Assembly room. Open to the public.
Retirement is good. Visited local grocery store recently, saw former Bladen County Planner and former Lumber River COG Director, Jim Perry, and while we were enjoying memories from the past, Tony Wilder, former Harnett County Manager, joined the conversation. Good thing I had not picked up frozen products (ice cream), would have melted while we shared a few tall tales from working days.
