Early voting is over. Around 6,000 Bladen voters have cast their ballots. The General Election will be held Tuesday, November 6 at 17 polling places across the county. In 2014, 11,712 voted in the election and 2 years ago in a presidential election 15,969 cared enough to cast a vote.
Vote, please vote, vote as you please but do your civic duty, VOTE….
Was interesting to hear politicians talk about their schedule yesterday…Many began in Bladenboro, traveled to Kelly and some to Dublin, maybe other locations where functions were being held. It gets hectic.
Years ago, there were all kind of stories about trading ‘moonshine’ for votes…hopefully those shenanigans are over. Made a good story, not sure it ever happened, but more senor citizens than me ‘declare it to be true.’
The consensus after the election is that 100% of Americans think 50% of Americans have lost their minds.
