Thoughts While Shaving

NFL action last night – Bears 25, Vikings 20

Tonight – Rams vs Chiefs….

Short work week for many…Roadways will be crowded as we celebrate Thanksgiving….Drive as if your life depended on it…..because it does….

Many would be thankful for a more ‘settled’ stock market, especially retirees who depend on 401Ks and other such plans for a portion of their retirement income.

Flooding still possible in low lying areas of the county…..has been a constant ‘theme’ for the past several weeks and months…

Bladen County Commissioners meet today (twice), early meeting to discuss tax issues and regular meeting at 6:30….

Congratulations to West Bladen High School teacher….Gaye G. Davis, who was recently named winner of the inaugural Donate Life NC Hero Award for educating and advocating for organ donation in the area….leading her 2017 DREAM team, a group of high school athletes, who have been busy working on numerous projects including sponsoring heath fairs, donor registration, sponsoring bulletin boards, and numerous other projects…..

East Bladen football coach Robby Priest’s team was recently defeated in the 2A playoffs following a better than expected football season…The players are winners, but Priest is also a huge winner…he was recently declared ‘cancer free’.

Another very good week for BladenOnline…
