NC State Board of Elections apparently will name a completely new Bladen County Board of Elections. 3 of 5 have been named, they are Democrats Deborah Belle and Patsy Sheppard and Republican Emery White. Two more will be named soon, one Democrat and one Republican. Majority always party of the Governor.
A new budget for fiscal 2019-20 is top priority at the local and state level. Local and state budgets must be approved by July 1. Locals more apt to be complete on time, state usually not far behind, Feds usually late, sometimes years late.
