Reminder of the Bladen We Care Annual Golf Tournament at The Vineyard golf course at White Lake, it’s Thursday, April 25. Proceeds benefit folks having a difficult time healthwise ‘falling thru the cracks’ in our health care system. The NC Interscholastic Cycling League Mountain Bike Race is set for Saturday, April 27 at Browns Creek Nature Park and Bike Trail, located on West Broad Street, Elizabethtown, across the road from the entrance to Lock & Dam #2.
Others include the Annual Kelly Spring Fest at the Kelly ball field, Saturday, begins at 10 a.m.
Bladen County Relay for Life, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Elizabethtown Middle School athletic field.
Child Abuse Prevention event Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A walk is planned from San Jose Restaurant to Bladen County Courthouse. The activities will continue on the lawn at the courthouse and all are invited.
Looking for something to do this weekend…take your pick or visit them all…no doubt there are others that we do not know about.
Bladen is a busy place, all good, worthy events, most are free….people helping people.
