Remember this time of year when you were still in grade school? “Bout this time of the year, began thinking about getting to the end of the year … and days would just d-r-a-g on and on … I was ready to move on … to the tobacco patch or later to my job at Hinson’s Super Market in B-boro … Must be difficult for teachers as well, attempting to keep students focused…

Cooler weather expected for the next few days … A 40% chance of a shower today … mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Northwest wind around 9 mph, with gusts as high as 16 mph. New rainfall amounts expected to be less than a tenth of an inch. Mostly clear, with a low around 47. Friday, sunny, with a high near 70 … A 40% chance of rain Saturday, 30% Saturday night…

Minor league baseball hopefully coming to Fayetteville in a few days or weeks…

Had your shots? Do believe the pandemic situation is improving … Apparently no shortage of vaccine, even with J&J on hold … Overall situation appears to be improving, despite many who indicate they will not have a shot … Whatever ‘rows your boat”, but as for me and my small immediate family, we are vaccinated as suggested.

Noticed meat prices at the supermarkets continue to climb, maybe for other products as well…

Continue to pray for the sick and families who have lost a loved one…
