Was hoping for some rain over the past few hours … none reported at the National Weather Service reporting station at the local airport … Still possible, but … Forecast for today, isolated showers before 9 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning then gradual clearing, with a high near 74. North wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph and a 20% chance of rain.
Tonight, mostly clear, with a low around 50. Monday, sunny, with a high near 79 and same type forecast for the next few days. Next chance of rain is Friday and Friday night … a 30% chance.
Farmers are busy planting, and have seen some sign of corn peaking thru…
