Thoughts While Shaving for April 26

Congratulations to Larrrell Murchison. … He will continue his football career with the Tennessee Titans. … I must have been one of several hundred, locally, monitoring the NFL draft … began Thursday evening and continued through noontime Saturday…

Congratulations to mom and dad Murchison and twin brother Farrell Murchison … Had it not been for sickness, may have been twins selected yesterday…

I really learned more about the Tennessee Titans than I ever knew … They were the original Houston Oilers, had success in Texas before moving to Nashville, Tennessee. … Played a couple of years in Memphis before returning to Nashville.

I checked the reaction to the selection in Nashville news sources … good, positive comments and back in Bladen, excitement for the former East Bladen Eagle, played a couple of years at Louisburg, then moved on to NC State and had good success as a defensive lineman … He becomes the first Bladen County player to be selected in the NFL draft…

Say all that to explain why our yard is the only one in the neighborhood that was not mowed yesterday…

Promised earlier, if I won the lottery, would share the proceeds … no such deal … invested all of $6 for Powerball tickets … Same old story … My investment turned into a gift to the Lottery Commission … but, my token investment will be used for public education…

Today is Sunday, hope we all take time to attend the church of our choice, by way of the Internet … or drive-in church…

Will be so happy when the virus is over, or slowed down and we can return to a normal lifestyle, including attending church, in person, in the sanctuary with our friends and neighbors…

7 keys to life…
