Two Columbus County MLB players … off to a good start … MacKenzie Gore pitched a very good game, his last outing … Lost 2-1 … His record to date … 2 wins, 3 loses, low ERA … Another Columbus County big leaguer … Brooks Baldwin’s batting average climbing and a couple of home runs … to his credit…
Have two great youngsters next door … Their parents have chicks, layers. One chick “skipped out” … and the youngsters delivered a news release for me … (and others no doubt) … A full page release … with a picture of the missing chick … beak is pink and blue, as is the body … Chick’s name is Ruby and if anyone sees, please return to owners … smile … One of the owners is about 2½ yeard old, the other about two years older … If you think you know where Ruby may be … you can contact me and I will pass info on.
