Bladen County has moved from no coronavirus victims to one. … Hope the unidentified person recovers quickly and we have no more, but not likely.

The virus has changed the way we do business, like no other.

Round-a-bout near Dublin set to re-open soon. Located at the intersection of NC 41 and 410, it will hopefully improve the flow of traffic in the area near Bladen Community College and West Bladen High School.

A reminder of ‘hot spots’ located throughout the Bladen and Sampson County areas … mostly in the area of schools. … Free internet access for all, should be welcome relief for students doing homework. … Others are welcome to use. … Again, FREE, courtesy of Star Communications…

Attended a burial service recently … so different … no handshakes, no touching, period … all keeping a distance from long time friends, seldom seen. … Just an acknowledgement that others are around. … Even chairs for family are staggered to make sure rules are followed. … No complaints … whatever it takes to overcome the virus…

Looking forward to a return to normal. … Can’t stand to be ‘cooped up’ for days and weeks … but ‘dealing with it’…

One of my favorite things-to-do is meeting friends at noontime for a snack and conversation at a near-by restaurant … not now…

And enjoy meeting with friends at Tar Heel Baptist Church, 7 AM, first Friday in the month … not this month and not sure when.

Know must be tough for those with loved ones in rest homes and some, maybe, all medical facilities … no visits…
