Im of South Korea is the leader after one round of play at minus 5 followed by Australian Cameron Smith at -4, rounding out the top 5 at -3 includes Danny Willett (Great Britain), Joaquin Niemann, (Chilean) and Dustin Johnson, a South Carolina native now living in Florida. Where was Tiger Woods? He had a very good round at -1. Play continues today.
The weather should not be an issue for folks outdoors over the next week or so, unless windy conditions are a hindrance. Sunny today with a high near 69 and windy, with gusts in the 25 mph range. Had questions recently related to former Bladen County doctor accused of operating a ‘pill mill’ in Tabor City. Dr. John Whan Kim was sentenced to 78 months in prison Thursday. His helper, Tammy Thompson of Bladen County, has pleaded guilty to numerous charges and is expected to be sentenced later this year. Both were arrested in 2018 at their office in Columbus County.
