Interesting weather forecast for the next few days … Showers and thunderstorms likely after 5 p.m. today. Mostly sunny with a high near 94 and heat values in the 105 range. Windy, with gust in the 17 mph range and a 60% chance or rain.

Today is the 1st day of August … Average high temps for the month in the upper 80 degree range and lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Was hopeful, we would be moving forward toward a more normal situation … but doubtful … More mandated mask possible…

Great weather for crops in this area. See farmers beginning to harvest some corn, tobacco is looking good as are peanuts and beans…

I know I am repeating myself, but most industries in the area are still looking for workers … and pay per hour is up in many plants.
