Thoughts While ShavingHaving a problem over the past 24 hours with one of my computers.  Windows 11 is attempting to hijack.  Grrrrrr.

Many of my friends are indicating their choice for president will not be made because of who they favor, but who they oppose.  I ask again, how did we get to this point with these two major candidates?

Rivermist takes the stage this evening at Cape Fear Farmers Market.  Admission is free.  The concert begins at 6 p.m.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Continue to check BladenOnline for news of other musical events upcoming in the area over the next week to 10 days.

Keep up to date on the proposed closing of Bladen County Schools. BladenOnline is a good place to begin. There will no doubt be some interesting meetings over the next few months.  And, another part of the conversation is the approval by the state of an additional charter school in the county, set to open in 2017.  To be continued.

Had questions related to the broadcast of high school football games.  Not sure, Joe Melvin and Ricky Leinwand continue to evaluate the possibilities.  The major problem is the lack of an available/interested FM radio station in this area.  Next few days will be crucial. If no broadcast, not because they have not made the effort.

High school football scrimmages are underway.  East and West Bladen have high hopes.

Fortunately, no sign of the Zika virus in this part of the world.

Olympic Games continue thru August 21.

I just got hit by a rented car.  It Hertz.

Velcro – what a rip-off.

To err is human.  To blame it on someone else shows management potential.
