Some old habits are hard to break. I still have a difficult time when I see someone walking or having a problem with their vehicle beside the road and temps near 100.
I am reminded, there are some bad folks among us and it is difficult to know who is OK and who may not be. Too often, I drive on.
I grew up “thumbing”, but it was a different world.
Keep the Morris family in your thoughts and prayers. Funeral services for Debbie Morris will be held at 11 AM today at Bethel Baptist Church, near Dublin with burial to follow at the AG Roberts Cemetery, Old NC 41. She died in an accident Saturday on Center Road near Hickory Grove Baptist Church, north of Bladenboro.
A reminder that we know not the day or the hour.
Ever share a problem, need a sympathetic ear, someone to just listen and they want to solve your problem? Heck, I know what I need to do, I just want to complain to someone. Reminds me that we should give advice sparingly and only when asked for.
