Yesterday’s high temp was 80 degrees under clear skies … I thought it felt a little warmer, but the thermometer is the deciding factor … in the mid 60s about midnight…
Overnight low temp was expected to be in the mid to upper 50s.
Friday … (today) … Partly sunny with a high near 82 … Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 84 … Saturday, mostly sunny with a high near 86 … Sunday (Church Day), sunny with a high near 88. No mention of rain in the forecast thru next Thursday…
Not sure … if the political storm increases or decreases … D’s convention over last evening … R’s completed a few weeks ago … Full steam ahead for both til early November…

Should be a huge weekend at the local lakes … Good weather … Church camp for the church we attend, then back to school for everyone … Full steam ahead…
Share a sad story, shared with me … recently … A youngster was heard begging his mom to cook hamburgers for him and a few friends for his birthday … Mom was heard saying … I’m sorry … I can’t, the price of meat is too high … Fortunately in our area, there are organizations assisting moms and dads and youngsters … One is the Bladen Crisis … Can’t solve all issues, but doing as good a job as they can with limited resources … Donations accepted … and shared with many … Bladen We Care made a contribution recently to the organization … Can’t solve all, but helps…
