Thoughts While ShavingLots of confusion related to the upcoming election.  Early voting, confusion about redistricting, and who to vote for.  It will all be worked out, hopefully before November 8.

Remember the days when Bladen County Commissioners and the Board of Education were elected countywide and it took all night long to count the ballots?

Think you will ever feel comfy riding in a vehicle with no driver?  It is coming soon, well in the next few years.  Realize changes are coming, but prefer someone at the steering wheel.

Pray for the folks in Rome where the earthquake devastated the area and many lives were lost; in Louisiana where flooding has occurred; in California where fires have forced residents to flee, leaving behind devastation; and in the Midwest (Indiana) area where tornadoes have cause much damage over the past couple of days.

Keep an eye on the Atlantic where potential hurricanes are brewing.  And, in Bladen County, temps are expected to rise to the 90s, again.

A reminder of the Summer Sounds, a free concert this evening from 6-9 p.m. at Cape Fear Farmer’s Market featuring the Blackwater Rhythm & Blues.  It’s the last of 4 such events this summer.

I meant to behave…but there were too many other options.

All my life I thought air was free…until I bought a bag of chips.

My level of maturity depends on who I’m with.
