So much going on … Whiteville’s Brooks Baldwin slammed his first major league home run over the weekend … He joined the Chicago White Sox a couple of weeks ago … He and the team are strugglin’. Truthfully, I do not keep up with the White Sox … The team has lost their last 20 games … If the Baldwin name rings a bell … his dad, Chuck Baldwin, was a very good player … including several years as 1st baseman for the Clemson Tigers … after a successful high school career in Columbus County.
