Thoughts While ShavingThinking about Christmas, con artists, high school football championship results…

I may miss the best gift of the season … I approach every communication related to me winning anything as trash…

Time to mail Christmas cards, if you haven’t already … or do you even send cards … Just wondering…

I mentioned Terri Dennison earlier … She is working with a group planning a 250th celebration for the local area … seeking anything anyone has related to the 200th celebration a few years ago … I failed to list her contact info … 910-862-4368…

North Carolina High school football championships have been determined…

2A: East Duplin 24 – Reidsville 21
3A: East Lincoln 30 – Northern Nash 15
4A: New Bern 40 – Grimsley 28

Churches in the area are preparing to celebrate in various forms … Wesley’s Chapel Choir and individuals will celebrate Wednesday evening at the church … located on Peanut Plant Road, Elizabethtown, NC. … Others, no doubt have services planned for the next couple of weeks … Google or call churches in the area for time and place…

Weather forecast indicates a 40% chance of rain today, mainly after 3 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 58. Also a slight chance of rain before 8 p.m. this evening, low in the 42 degree range. Looking ahead to Monday, sunny, with a high near 57 and windy, gusts as high as 15 mph.

Christmas Day is 2 weeks from today … just a friendly reminder…
