So many headlines, all around … medication for coronavirus, weather, Electoral College ballots cast…

Begin with the virus medication … big news, hope and pray it is successful and we are as near back to normal as we can be, quickly … probably late spring or early summer, maybe later … just a guess … who knows?

Joe Biden and the Democrats will be in control of the executive branch of government after January 20. Most likely the R’s will continue control of the U.S. Senate, with a razor thin majority, and the Dems hold a slight margin in the House or Representatives.

And, the weather … Yesterday was a messy day, today should be better … Checking precipitation amounts, we received about a half inch of rainfall over the past couple of days. Cold overnight, in the upper 30s at 5 a.m. this morning…

Forecast for today, sunny, with a high near 49. Northeast wind 5 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. A chance of rain tonight, mainly after 1 a.m., increasing clouds, with a low around 37. Windy, with gusts up to 18 mph and a 50% chance of precipitation.

Hold on, winter doesn’t officially arrive until next Monday, December 21

What are your plans for the holidays? My guess, less travel, more family time … lots of good food, gain a few pounds … and New Year’s Resolution will be to lose weight. Some things never change…

Crops are in, or soon will be … cotton appears to the the last crop harvested.

“Nothing is impossible. The word itself says ‘I’m possible.” Audrey Hepburn

“Negativity is like a collect call … You don’t have to accept it.”
