Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

Merry Christmas … Not likely to be a White Christmas in our area, but should be a cold day…

Hope Santa was good to to all … He must have had a ‘bumpy’ ride. Hope all good little boys and girls received what they hoped for. My heart breaks, knowing some most likely were disappointed … I don’t have to remind … it’s been a tough year for many…

For most, Christmas is or will be different due to the ‘virus … Use common sense…

Yesterday was tough, weatherwise … Checked The National Weather Service station at the local airport for wind gusts and rainfall. Gusts reached the mid 40s, may have been higher at other locations and rainfall was in the 1 to 2 inch range … thought it was higher … and it may have been at other locations … It was the scattered variety…

Midnite temp was 57 at the NWS location and 39 degrees at 5:15 AM…

Forecast for today … Mostly sunny, with a high near 40 and strong winds, gusts up to 29 mph … Tonight, mostly clear with a low around 22 and windy. Saturday, Sunny with a high near 43 and windy. Sunny, Sunday with a high temp near 51 with light and variable wind.

Too many good cooks sharing goodies … best I can tell I am a couple of pounds heavier today than yesterday…

On a sad note, lost a couple of my Bladenboro High classmates … class of ’56 over the past week. Thanks for a good network of longtime friends providing updates … Friends forever and I appreciate…

Merry Christmas … thankful for all…

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.'” Luke 2:10

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:11

“I think as we grow older our Christmas list gets shorter, because the things we want can’t be bought…” Lessonslearnedinlife.com

“The best Christmas gift is to realize how much we already have.”
