Time to go back to work for some, for others another holiday … Normal operations resume today at Bladen County solid waste sites … 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. However, the transfer station resumes a normal schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, December 28.

Spend to much time thinking about how things were when I was a youngster … cutting green wood for warming … that was a challenge, thankful that is no longer something I have to deal with … and we seldom had temps in the 60s and 70s in December … Seems it was cold everyday in the 50s…

If you need to exchange a Christmas gift, begins for many today … wrong size, wrong color, not what you were expecting … or have it picked up and returned … replaced or ask for a refund…

Time to look ahead … We will close out the year 2021 Friday … and a new year begins…

Property taxes due September 1, 2021 … penalty added January 5, 2022.

Ever dream all night long … not a bad dream, just one thing after another…
