Thoughts While Shaving for December 4

My long time, dependable computer apparently has died, without much notice. Have a replacement and a spare. Replacement not set up to my satisfaction as of this date, but will become a priority soon.

Are you ever concerned about operating a vehicle, daytime or night? … My concern relates to the possibility of sharing the road with a four-legged animal, mostly deer, but am told some areas are over populated by bears.

Traveling across the Cape Fear River on US 701 is an experience. … NCDOT working on the bridge and travel patterns are altered. … FYI.

Still time for you to sign your name on the dotted line, pay your filing fee and seek political office. The more the merrier.

Church choirs in the area will soon be presenting Cantatas. … Helps us get into the spirit of Christmas.

Ever think of being in a foreign country, alone???? I kinda need something or someone to hold on to … to share with. … I prefer someone who understands a little of what I am saying.

I am impressed with efforts by area residents (churches) who reach out and assist the less fortunate … individuals and families … helping them to have a better Christmas experience … not just during the holidays, but year-round.

Remember when fruit and nuts were Santa items? Maybe still are at your house. … Fruit, yes … not sure if we have ever purchased an English walnut … not at this Hester household.

“A wise man learns by the mistakes of others, a fool by his own.” Latin Proverb

“No man was ever wise by chance.” Senecca

“A loving heart is the truest wisdom.” Charles Dickens
