Winter time has arrived … a little early this year … Yesterday’s high temp in Bladen County … was a cool 44 degrees … Last night’s low … Upper teens and low 20s, depending on location … But, the lowest temp may be just ahead…
Today … Sunny with a high lower 50s and a southwest breeze around 6 mph this afternoon. Tonight, mostly clear with a low around 36 … Winds could get as high as 24 mph.
Thursday, sunny with a high near 59 … with a southwest wind around 10 mph, becoming northeast in the afternoon … Winds could gust as high as 26 mph … Thursday night, clear with a low around 23 and windy, gusts as high as 20 mph.
Friday night could be the coldest of all to date … Low temp … near 21 degrees…
Next best chance of rain, early next week … Showers forecast for Monday, Monday night and Tuesday … Rainfall expected … ranging from 30% to 50%…

The news from western NC continues to be unsettling … So much to be done before a return to normal … Many opportunities to participate in raising funds for the residents of western NC.
And, there are those among us who would have had no Thanksgiving dinner … here in our area … unless others stepped up…
