Thoughts While Shaving for February 13

The 2020 election process begins today at three locations in the county. They include:
Bladen County Board of Elections office, 308 Cypress Street, behind the Elizabethtown Post office…
In Bladenboro at old Spaulding Monroe School, 508 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive…
East Arcadia Town Hall, 1472 East Arcadia Road…

Be aware of the hours … Monday thru Friday…
Elizabethtown … 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Bladenboro … 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
East Arcadia … 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday … 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday … 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Early voting ends February 29 … 3 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday March 3, 2020 … 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at all 17 precincts in the county.

When in doubt, call or visit the Bladen County Board of Elections site … 301 S Cypress Street, Elizabethtown, NC.

No photo ID is required…

Vote for candidates at the local, state and national level … and report any unusual activity to the local Board of Elections … 910-862-6951.

On a different note … when was the last time you saw a tobacco bed? They dotted the landscape for years … seldom seen in this area today … ‘Bout as scarce as a tobacco stick … and many tobacco barns are leaning or have ‘crashed’ to the ground…

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm today … some could produce heavy rainfall. High in the upper 70s. Windy with gusts up to 37 mph and rainfall totals could be in the quarter to half inch range. 66 degrees at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

I don’t have to attend every argument I am invited to.

Sometimes the majority only means all the fools are on the same side.

You never know what makes some people tick, until they begin to unwind.
