Thoughts While Shaving archive

Yesterday was an interesting day … weather-wise … High temp near 68 degrees … but windy … gusts throughout the afternoon in the 20 plus MPH range…

Last night, showers, late, mainly between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. Cloudy, temps around 60 and wind gusts in the 21 mph range…

Today, showers and thunderstorms before 2 p.m. Breezy with a south wind 14 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph … and 100% chance of precipitation…

Tonight, mostly clear with a low around 33 … still windy, gusts as high as 18 mph. Monday … Mostly clear with a high near 51 and gusts as high as 18 mph … Hold on to your hat, bonnet, etc.

Looking ahead … Monday is a holiday for some … Presidents’ Day or Washington’s birthday.

Banks will be closed … Stock Market closed…

Bladen County commissioners will be meeting Monday evening, usual place and time … Courthouse at 6:30 p.m.

Lest you forget, time to square-up with Uncle Sam … Tax time … deadline for filing for individuals … April 15.

No matter how good or bad the times … nothing like a funeral to help get priorities in order…
