Wonder how many of the current presidential candidates will still be in the running on March 15, when North Carolina voters can make their wishes known? The NC Legislature moved election day from the first Tuesday in May to the new date.
March 15 is less than 4 weeks away. Can you name the candidates for County Commissioner, Board of Education, or any other office. Go to Bladen County Board of Elections web site for the ballot.
Hope the federal courts hold firm on redistricting. Both political parties have made a mess of it for years. Remove politics as much as possible. Democrats had one seat that extended from Virginia to Columbus County, same was and is true in a district that runs from near Virginia line above Greensboro into Mecklenburg County. The current districts are no better.
Would be a good project for a school like the Clarkton School of Discovery.
Discovered recently that the cost of removing a tattoo is much more expensive than the cost of adding one. Laser removal, according to one site, was $49 to $69 per inch, per session. According to the site I was viewing, the cost of a tattoo was $80 and up, some way up. Sounds like a new industry. I understand many love the tattoos, but apparently some are having second thoughts.
