Thoughts While Shaving for February 23

Ponds, creeks and rivers appear to be full … added about 3/10 of an inch of rain over the past 24 hours … Forecast for the next 2 or 3 days is for sunny skies in the daytime, clear at night … Today’s high expected to be near 65 with a west wind increasing to 9 to 14 mph, and gusts as high as 20 mph. Clear tonight with a low near 37 … Sunny again tomorrow (Wednesday) with a high near 71, again windy…

Next chance of precipitation is Friday, with a 40% chance of rain … Enjoy…

Sad story about a young Bladen County student being shot a couple of weeks ago, died recently in the Wilmington hospital…

Unemployment rate continues to be high, there are jobs available … just need to match the skills of the workers to the unfilled positions … Bladen Community College offers the training … Call or visit…

I am enjoying old pics of White Lake from years ago … So many folks sharing … from far and wide … mostly on Facebook…

Hope more vaccine is available soon, and maybe a stimulus package eventually works its way through Congress … Debate appears to be over the cost, and that’s important … But, if one side says one thing, bet your bottom dollar the other will oppose … both parties guilty … All eyes on the next election…

Have a sibling in Texas for a while … Situation not good in that part of the world … Freezing weather, shortage of just about everything … Power is finally being restored … A royal mess, not picking on Texas, could be anywhere … I love calling North Carolina, specifically Bladen County, home…

“A house is made of walls and beams. A home is built with love and dreams…” Dr. William Ward

“The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home.” Howard B. Lee
