The clock is winding down for Early Voting. Saturday is the last day, Tuesday, March 3 is election day. Google Bladen County Elections for a full slate of candidates … and vote…

Coronavirus is causing havoc around the world … CDC says it expects ‘community spread’ of the virus and warns of more disruptions.

Stock exchange is in a free fall mode. This too shall pass … hopefully soon.

Tuned in to final minutes of South Carolina Presidential Debate, last night. ‘Bout all I needed. Winners and losers will be determined on Saturday, February 29. ‘Wonder if the field will not be reduced significantly after ‘Super Tuesday?”. … Fourteen state primaries and the American Samoas caucuses will take place, amounting to 1,344 pledged delegates … 33.8% of the nationwide total … including North Carolina.

Remember the first presidential election you can recall? First one for me was the election of President Eisenhower … in 1952. He was re-elected in ’56. The retired 5 Star General defeated Adlai Stevenson in ’52 and ’56.

Weather will be spring like today … after overnight temps in the 50s and 60s.

Showers today, mainly after 5 p.m. Otherwise, cloudy with a high near 72 … wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph with gusts up to 16 mph and a 60% chance of rain.

Temps for the next few days will be lower, mostly in the 50s, gradually climbing back to the 60s and 70s early next week.
